Help Battle Cancer With Me!

Hello,

 I have been invited to join the Dana Farber team and run in the 10th Boston Half Marathon this coming October 10, 2010.

 

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer.  I recently learned that a student, colleague, and friend of mine, LK Case, has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.  The cancer spread and has resulted in 2 grapefruit-size tumors in her ovaries.  She has just gone for surgery at Dana Farber and is recovering at home.  Unfortunately, the cancer is fairly wide spread.  She is 35 years old and the mother of 2 beautiful girls, ages 3 and 10.  So this race is dedicated to LK.
